  The Was Insurance Agency LLC works with clients to analyze the company’s and employees’ benefit needs. All employers have different situations. We help you decide upon the kinds of plans best suited for you and your employees. We seek proposals from a variety of insurance carriers, review them and make recommendations based on cost-effectiveness and meeting stated goals.

Once plans are in place, we work hard to answer your questions and meet your administrative needs. Enrollments, terminations, and changes to employee data may all be handled through our office.

Our review of in-place plans, assures you that we will continue to seek the best solutions for your company as your needs and market products change.
In short, our process includes:
+   Initial discussion of employer and employee needs
+   Gathering census information  (see below)
+   Obtaining quotations and making recommendations
+   Providing employee education and enrollment services
+   Performing administrative functions and answering questions
+   Annual review of plans

To obtain quotations, we will need the following information:
+   Name, address, and nature of the business of your company
+   Current health insurance carrier
+   Total number of employees
+   Roster of participating employees to include the following information
  Name
  Date of birth
  Type of coverage required (Single, 2-Person, Family)
  Employee zip code if not a Massachusetts resident
